Josef Nicorici is an artist based in Hartford Connecticut. Nicorici’s work explores how time affects memory and memory alters time. The work references classical painting, collaging Renaissance landscapes with photographic images, taking inspiration from Nicolas Poussin, Peter Paul Rubens, Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, along with family and personal photographs of his travels through Europe.
